Jan 30th Coding/Arduino Workshop
Is your child interested in learning to code in a real programming language?
Do they want to learn how to build and control electronic components with Arduino Microcontrollers?
Date and Location:
- Saturday, Jan 30th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Mathnasium of Park Slope: 361 5th Ave, Brooklyn 11215
This one-day workshop was created to deliver the experience of a BK Bots semester course in one fun-filled and informative afternoon! Students work in groups of 3, so these classes are great for a small group of friends as well as individuals. They make great gifts too.
During this 2-hour workshop we start by using the Hour of Code curriculum as an introduction to basic concepts in computer programming. In the second half of the class, we use Khan Academy to explore the JavaScript programming environment or conduct a simple circuit experiment using the Arduino Starter Kit
